Find the fascists
Objective:
Find the Fascist is a social deduction game where players assume secret roles and attempt to either uphold democracy or enable an authoritarian takeover.
The game is played with 6 or more players to achieve optimal balance. 7+ players: Adds the Jester role.
The game requires deception, strategic alliances, and keen deduction skills.
Setup:
Each player is assigned a secret role at the beginning of the game.
The roles include:
Liberals: Work together to uncover the Fascist Leader and safeguard democracy.
Fascists: Collaborate with fellow Fascists to dismantle democracy and establish a new world order.
Fascist Leader: The mastermind behind the takeover; wins if they successfully seize control.
Jester (Optional Role): Wins only if they are eliminated from the game.
Players join a digital lobby using a unique game code. The game board displays all available policy cards and player actions.
Gameplay:
The game follows a structured turn-based system, where players take turns performing actions.
Actions may include proposing policies, investigating roles, or voting on leadership decisions.
Policy cards are drawn and played strategically to shape the political landscape.
In-game Chat: Players communicate openly with everyone by default. However, Fascist players can secretly communicate among themselves by prefixing their messages with /f. Messages sent this way are visible only to fellow Fascists, allowing for covert planning and deception.
Voting & Policies:
Players regularly vote on proposed policies or leadership changes.
Democrats must identify and prevent infiltrators from gaining control.
Fascists must manipulate the system while avoiding exposure.
Winning Conditions:
Democrats win if they successfully identify and eliminate the Fascist Leader or if six Liberal policies are enacted.
Fascists win if they gain enough influence to take over the government or if five Fascist policies are enacted.
The Jester wins if they manage to get themselves eliminated.
